“Hostile attitude” NBA Fans reacts as Will Barton gets slapped by Jeff Green for fighting his own teammate DeMarcus Cousins in game 2
Jeff Green slaps own teammate Will Barton for fighting DeMarcus Cousins
Last night was a perfect example of how the Nuggets are frustrated for their postseason when Will Barton was fed up with the Warriors’ dominance and it seems he was also fed up with his own teammates and started yelling at them during the game 2 of the Warriors-Nuggets series on Monday night.
The Nuggets from the last two seasons have performed very well in the regular season and due to this the expectation for them to run deep playoffs also has risen but unfortunately, their postseason gets obstructed every time by other teams and it seems even in the current playoffs, we might see something like this. Meanwhile, the Nuggets team is so frustrated about it that they have started fighting with each other in between games.

Warriors unit break Nuggets’ guard Will Barton, who spends Game 2 yelling at his teammates
Will Barton is known as one of the best guards for the Nuggets this season but he was not able to keep himself calm when the Warriors started gaining momentum over them. He finally started losing his cool in the first half when Stephen Curry nailed a shot very early in their possession and the Nuggets’ defense looked lethargic. He turned to his teammates may be to complain about their half-mind gameplay
Still, Barton was not that mad, but suddenly during the commercial break in the third quarter of round one, he started yelling at the big man DeMarcus Cousins for his lack of hustle and inefficient efforts in the game. But this didn’t end here Barton was trying to pick on Cousin every time they were on the bench and witnessing this, other Nuggets star Jeff Green got hyper.
Green was sitting in the row with Barton while he was shouting at Cousins, which he wasn’t able to ignore and started hitting Barton in his face. Green slapped Will two to three times before the timeout was over.
This incident was just a small part of Denver’s drama in this whole game. The Nuggets have lost their game 2 and are now down by two in the series and if they want to come back in this round, they first need to overcome their personal differences or things will get more worse for them in the upcoming games
