LeBron James somehow always lands himself between trolls and he has done it again. Everyone knows he’s not just limited to basketball as a sport he even has some past with football too and admires every game he likes. Even Hockey too tops that list as he was present on the media day of NHL before the Stanley Cup Finals. His presence already had him in the headlines as not many expected him to be there. But what he did moments after has NHL fans heated up and even the NBA fans have joined them as they are collectively trolling LeBron James for touching the Stanley Cup.
LeBron James is known as the Jinxster as many believe anything he has appreciated or supported has fallen apart or struggled ahead. His most recent jinx moment was Liverpool’s loss in the Finals against Real Madrid. As fans blamed him for the loss even though he owns some stake in the team and traveled all the way to Paris to cheer his boys up. Now with him touching, praising and admiring the Stanley Cup during the NHL media day, he’s back in the headlines as fans are out with the trolls.
LeBron James is already the G.O.A.T of basketball for many and he surely is one of the best ever to set a foot on a basketball court. He has even said it out and loud that he’ll be in the business for some more years to come. So him playing hockey in NHL is surely not possible for years. But still, fans are trolling him for a superstition that says athletes shouldn’t touch the Stanley Cup before they win it or they’ll never win. This was limited to Hockey players until the media day but now even LeBron James is getting a piece of it.
