Draymond Green has landed himself in deep waters and it seems like he might be in serious trouble for what he just did. Everybody knows that he provides a massive amount of success to the Golden State Warriors which is why he also believes he has a decent amount of authority in his hands.
The four time NBA Champion had thrown a solid massive punch to teammate Jordan Poole‘s face. In a video recently uploaded by TMZ, it seems as though the two were exchanging words before the how altercation took place.
We can see here how Poole is mouthing something which triggered Green. The power forward seemed to taken it very seriously which caused him to throw a fist at Poole. This certainly got a lot of criticism thrown at the veteran.
Draymond Green gets “apologetic” for his actions
Questions regarding around the nature of relationship between the two involved have been raised following the incident. Some have speculated that Poole showed a change on attitude during the practice session which the Warriors team spoke against.
Many believe that it was Draymond Green who acted out of authority as the veteran and pseudo leader of the group. Either way, there will be no major punishment or suspension given to the former defensive player of the year.
General Manager Bob Meyers claimed that Draymond Green apologied to everybody including Jordan. “These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens. Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room. As far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally.”
