Kyle Kuzma was the final player cut from the USA Basketball squad in 2019 after suffering an ankle injury at the conclusion of the FIBA World Cup training. Kuzma, who was expected to have a significant impact on the historically underwhelming team, could have provided some much-needed forward depth as well as a scoring punch. In his first two offseasons as an NBA player, Kuzma made a commitment and shared his talents with the community. He organized basketball camps for young people in his area each summers. Kuzma himself was a native of the ordinary Michigan town of Flint. He was aware that local children don’t typically get to interact with NBA-caliber sportsmen. He mostly does this through the camp to try to unite them.

The camper was continu asking Kuzma, “where Kyle Kuzma at?” after apparently asking him if he was taller than Kyle Kuzma and then asking him if he worked for Kuzma. The Lakers star continued to make his point to the doubting camper, but to no success. Another pair of counsellors collaborated to persuade the camper that one of them is Kuzma, which made the situation extra funny.
