He even took his athleticism a level up and has many highlight-worthy dunks this season. In the Finals, he backed the starters up by coming off the bench to get the job done on both the ends of the floor.
In Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Gary Payton II showcased his defensive greats and dropped 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. He also got 3 steals and 1 block while the Dubs dominated and bullied the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. Before having a blast in the wild championship celebration with his teammates. Daddy won one and he win one now that’s groovy…look at him that’s where he posts a big!” He knew it was coming but the reaction was surprising and well-deserved as they have seen and experienced it all together.
