“Christian Horner can wait” Geri Halliwell wanted to SPICE things with $95 Million NBA Coach before being with Red Bull boss

In the 2000s, it was said that former NBA great Steve Nash was spicing up his life by dating ex-British pop superstar Geri Halliwell. When she frequently attended Mavericks games wearing Nash’s No. 13, he claimed that he and the former Spice girl were close and planned to see each other again.

A former English pop singer known as “Ginger Spice” and a member of the Spice Girls, the best-selling girl group of all time, Geri Halliwell rose to fame in the 1990s. She joined the female group “Spice Girls” when she was young, and the group’s debut single, which reached the top of the charts in several nations, was a big hit.

Steve Nash had six of the most exciting and successful seasons of his famous career with the Dallas Mavericks while seeing Geri. He left without ever having a chance to compete on the championship stage but went on to establish himself as one of the NBA’s all-time greats.

Steve Nash and his legendary stint in the NBA

Steve Nash played 18 NBA seasons with the Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers after being selected by Phoenix with the 15th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. With the Suns, Nash won league MVP honors in each of his first two seasons, making him the first Canadian to win it and only the 10th player in NBA history to do it. Nash was a three-time All-NBA First Team member in addition to being an eight-time NBA All-Star. With 10,335 assists, Nash completed his career third all-time, after five seasons as the NBA’s leader in assists per game. Nash averaged 14 points, 8.5 assists, and 3 rebounds per game throughout the course of more than 1,200 regular-season contests.

Nash attended Santa Clara University before joining the NBA, where he won the West Coast Conference Player of the Year award twice. The No. 2 seeded Arizona Wildcats were defeated by Nash and the15th-seeded Santa Clara in one of the greatest upsets in NCAA Tournament history. Nash, one of Canada’s most accomplished athletes, won the Canadian male athlete of the year award three times in a row beginning in 2005 and was also named as a member of the 2020–21 class of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame. Nash was chosen for the NBA’s 75th anniversary squad in 2022 and became the fifth Canadian to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Geri Halliwell could have been ‘Geri Nash’!

Steve Nash, the current head coach of the Brooklyn Nets and a former NBA player, is one of Geri Halliwell’s most well-known ex-boyfriends. In the early 2000s, Geri dated the former All-Star for a limited period of time. Before ending their romance, the pair enjoyed a few candlelit dinner dates. Geri was holding out hope that things might work out, but it became evident very early that a relationship was not going to be possible. They decided to call it quits after managing a few dinner dates since they couldn’t find time in their busy lives to see each other. Ginger Spice and Nash were merely friends, according to Nash’s mother, Jean Nash, who claimed this during that time.

With Red Bull CEO Christian Horner, the pop singer appears to have found love and marriage. With a charming 5-year-old son and two luxurious mansions, Christian and Geri have been blissfully married for seven years. Alejandra Amarilla and Steve Nash were married in 2005 and was  divorced in 2010.  The NBA coach has three children throughout their nearly ten years of marriage to Alejandra. Nash initially met Lilla Frederick in 2015 and a year later, they were married and had two children.
