Some players are passionate and serious after a loss. Some may take the situation lightly. And then, there is Giannis Antetokounmpo who knows how to present a mixture of both. Giannis, the star player and talisman for the Milwaukee Bucks, delivered a passionate, detailed yet humor-laden speech following their recent defeat to the Houston Rockets by 112-108.

In a post-game interview, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo who emphasized the need for every single person within the organization to be better.

It was a one-man army show for Giannis Antetokounmpo who was nothing but phenomenal on the night. But despite shouldering the burden of the Bucks’ performance himself, with an impressive 48 points and 17 rebounds, they failed to get a win on away territory.

After their blowout loss, Giannis was vocal in the post-match interview. While Antetokounmpo’s speech comprised both detailed and head-turning motivation, there was also a hysteric plea to Buck’s equipment manager, telling everyone must do their part diligently:

Every single thing, everybody has to be better. Everybody. It starts from the equipment manager. He has to wash our clothes better.

With a record of 25-11 and 3 losses in their last four games, it is evident that someone from the Bucks had to take responsibility and state the obvious causes for their recent form. Whether it is a need for a collective effort to return to their winning ways or make necessary changes, Antetokounmpo’s passionate plea just shows how much determination the team lacks and requires a wake-up call.

As Giannis and Milwaukee Bucks prepare to face an already struggling Utah Jazz side, both teams, who are currently struggling to find their best form, could see this game as a huge opportunity to get on the right path. The Utah Jazz, who currently sits 4th in the Northwest Division with a record of 17-20, can be expected to put into a test against a similarly out-of-form Milwaukee Bucks, with an in-form Giannis Antetokounmpo.

With three losses out of their last four games, serious questions have been asked about the Bucks as well. Sitting 2nd currently in the Eastern Conference, it’s still a long road for the 2021 Champions. But if there is one person they can always count on, it is their talisman, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

3rd in points average of 31.6 and 6th in rebounds with 11.5 in the league, there is no question about his presence on the team and the impact he brings to the Bucks. But the question is, will the Bucks support him by doing their part of work?

It’s a “never count them out” Bucks team who are capable of creating special moments out of the blue. And for sure, as per “The Greek Freak”‘s advice, things have to change.
