Giannis Antetokounmpo made his presence felt again in the postseason game against Chicago Bulls. One of his play gave Bulls feeling of their own great Michael Jordan’s plays.
Milwaukee Bucks started their title defense as they welcomed Chicago Bulls to the Fiserv Forum on Sunday night. They dominated the Bulls in the regular-season winning handsomely in all 4 games. Rather high scoring Bulls team was struggling against Milwaukee’s defense, as they were limited to an average of 101 points in the regular season. They had similar troubles in Game 1 of the 2022 postseason, but with the added burden of charged-up Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek-freak plays on another level when it comes to the playoff matches. He was explosive on offense and played his role of helping in defense. One of his charges towards the rim resembled GOAT Michael Jordan – Space Jam scene.
Fans reacted positively to the comparison photo, as Giannis jumped from the free-throw line to make the basket count.
Giannis Antetokounmpo turned on the beast mode

In the low-scoring 1st game of the post-season, Giannis was the top scorer in the game with 27 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in just 34 minutes of game-time. Interestingly he didn’t score in the 4th quarter, as he was stated the quarter with 4 personal fouls.
Talking about the team performance, 27-years old megastar said, “The whole team was kind of out of rhythm. We weren’t able to find one another as easy as we usually find one another and make shots. We missed a bunch of open shots today. Usually, we make those and we get energy.”
Chicago Bulls gave some fight late in the game
Chicago Bulls were also not a push-over team by any means. They hold the top position in the East for a larger period this season, but injuries and Covid-19 cost them some games. They cling on to the 6th position in the end.
After trailing by 8 points at the half, Zach LaVine and the team made a small comeback in the game. They were even leading in the game at one point. But defending Champions hold off the Bulls with some crucial plays by experience Lopez and Giannis ensured the home cheers. The next meeting will be on 20th April.
