The Milwaukee Bucks had the best regular season record going into the 2023 playoffs. The top team had to face the Miami Heat, who came out of the Play-In tournament. The Bucks would lose the series in just five games, as the eight-seeded Heat would advance to the second round. Giannis Antetokounmpo had injured his back during the series after which he missed Games 2 and 3.
The Greek Freak managed to put up 23 points and 11 rebounds a game in the series. Though the loss was pretty unfortunate for the Bucks. Giannis had another great season, putting up MVP numbers, yet his injury had come in the way as the Bucks were the favorites to win the East. Giannis’ future seems solid having won his first championship at the age of 26.
Following the series loss, Giannis is going through his injury recovery while the team looks forward to the offseason. The Greek Freak is a two-time MVP and the 2021 Finals MVP, his performance has never been down, especially in the playoffs. This was the first postseason, where Giannis had to go through an injury. While for him, things seem to have changed a lot.
Recently, a few of Giannis’ fans went up to him to get a picture. After posting their picture with the Greek Freak, fans on Twitter noticed his new look. Giannis has had a new haircut as he rests in the offseason. Antetokounmpo got roasted on Twitter for his new haircut, which would remind fans of young Giannis.

Drafted in 2013, Giannis was 19 years old being the new hope for the Bucks team. He slowly rose to popularity as his game only improved throughout the years. With time, Giannis’ physique as well as appearance changed a lot. The MVP now has a similar look he had in 2014. Fans are not a big fan of his new look as they went into a frenzy on Twitter.
It’s great to see Giannis spend his time off, as the Bucks fans hope for a healthy season from him next year. With the offseason around the corner, it will be interesting to see whether the Bucks will add some new additions to their roster.
