Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks’ forward, is expected to play in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Miami Heat, according to sources. The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that he will start unless there are any setbacks. Antetokounmpo missed the previous two games due to a lower back contusion
Despite initial reports suggesting an MRI showed no significant damage, Antetokounmpo was ruled out for Games 2 and 3. The Bucks suffered a blow with Antetokounmpo’s absence as Miami took a 2-1 lead in the series with a 121-99 win on Saturday.
However, the Bucks will get a boost from Antetokounmpo’s return for Game 4, as they look to level the series. Antetokounmpo’s impact on the team is significant, having averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game in the regular season. He is also a two-time NBA MVP and has been instrumental in the Bucks’ playoff campaigns in recent years.
The Bucks have struggled in Antetokounmpo’s absence, with Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday failing to make up for the loss of their star player. The team will hope that Antetokounmpo can quickly shake off the rust and make an immediate impact upon his return.

The Heat’s impressive win was fueled by a scintillating performance from Jimmy Butler, who scored 30 points. Bam Adebayo also had a strong game, finishing with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.
