Saturday night’s game wasn’t for the light-hearted. It was a showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and the Milwaukee Bucks – two absolute units of the NBA who look to bring surprise into the season. And as for the game, it had it all. Solo duels, mellow drama, and even some nasty fouls during the game. And the culprit was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who didn’t go easy on Luka Doncic at all.

The game ended 129-117, a win to the Milwaukee Bucks who now sit 2nd in the Eastern Conference table with 33 wins. But the highlighting of the game wasn’t just the sheer dominance of Giannis or Luka’s magic. It was rather the showdown between the two, a nasty one at that.

During the match, Giannis looked quite rough of Doncic, committing a series of fouls in the game. From an on-air kick to a crunchy ankle tackle, Doncic was left in pain during the first quarter and briefly went to the locker room. Thankfully, he was able to continue to game, scoring 40 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds.

As for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who himself had a significant impact on his team, providing 48 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds came out the better side between the two. But it wasn’t his brilliant performance that caught the headlines, rather the violent approach during the game- for which he wasn’t given any calls. And fans were definitely not having it.
