Former NBA player, Gilbert Arenas in an episode of his podcast, Gil’s Arena revealed a shocking piece of information regarding 2 specific WNBA players. Gilbert in the past has made controversial statements regarding the WNBA, which means his latest statements are hardly a surprise.

“Gil’s Arena” sees the former Washington Wizards forward convert his basement into a studio where he talks to personalities on a daily basis. The show regularly features the likes of Josiah Johnson, Brandon Jennings, Kenyon Martin, Lexie Brown, Rashad McCants, and whichever top NBA player joins as a guest.

Gil & The Gil’s Arena Crew discuss the craziest things a fan has ever asked them for and Gilbert then tells a story about a WNBA player asking him for some of his DNA to create a superhuman.

Actually, it's two ex WNBA players. They wanted the loins of my sperm.

He joked about the situation further:

Only if we can do it the regular way

He concluded, sending the room into a moment of laughter.

A three-time NBA All-Star and three-time member of the All-NBA Team, Gilbert Arenas earned recognition as the NBA Most Improved Player in the 2002-03 season. His late-game shot-making prowess earned him the nickname “Agent Zero.”

Despite lofty ambitions, the Phoenix Suns have fallen short of expectations this season. The anticipation was high, fueled by the hope that the acquisition of Bradley Beal would catapult the Suns to greater glory, complementing the stellar performance of their star player, Kevin Durant.

Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on an episode of their Nightcap podcast, Arenas explained why the Sun failed to impress.

With the Suns, they have a great starting five, we know who is coming to play. Kevin Durant, Booker. That is the core of that team. It's trying to find, that sixth, seventh, eighth guy who can give you consistent play.

When Sharpe brought up the fact that Durant, Booker, and Gordon had to play so much against the Houston Rockets, he said:

Who else they got on that team? You goin' to put Yuta Watanabe in? They don't have anyone on the bench so he (Durant) have to play 41 minutes.

The Suns currently sit eighth on the Western Conference standings with an 18-15 record.
