“Full head of hair, 3 months later, hairline gone!” Gilbert Arenas shockingly hints Michael Jordan used steroids during NBA career

Gilbert Arenas and Michael Jordan

During an episode of the Gil’s Arena, Gilbert Arenas and the crew were talking about LeBron James playing with Kyrie Irving and him (Kyrie) playing with Luka Doncic before the conversation switched to James, who was recently accused of steroid use. Then, Arenas stepped in to defend James.

Further, Arenas said if they wish to run a narrative about how he can still play in his 21st season, they should use that same energy to judge Michael Jordan. He further discussed some physical traits that emerged as his claim to support his case.

One of those claims was about MJ’s premature balding, which is one of the side effects of anabolic steroids. Jordan had hair during the nascent stages of his career. According to Agent Zero, MJ went bald and buffed up three months later during a particular season.

I mean, let's just leave it at that and just watch the game like everybody else. Because if you want to dig, I can show you some pictures of a full head of hair, 3 months later, hairline gone, buffer than a MF out there.

Although Arenas did not accuse His Airness directly of taking banned substances, he recalled a story of an athlete who played an intense round of golf, smoked, drank, and was still able to maintain his intensity on the court. Looking back, none of the athletes involved had ever failed a drug test.

Kwame Brown comes to Michael Jordan’s defense

Kwame Brown, the former Washington Wizards player, came to Jordan’s defense after Gilbert Arenas mentioned that MJ had allegedly used performance-enhancement drugs during his stellar career. Brown was on the books of the Wizards, the same as Jordan.

I can say 100% that's 'cap.’ MJ wasn't on anything. At 38, at 39, 40 years old, MJ wasn't outrunning any other young guys. MJ wasn't coming down the lane tomahawk-dunking on anybody. He was very old, and you could tell this was an older guy out there with young people.

Jordan, while with the Wizards, averaged 21.2 PPG, 4.4 APG, and 5.9 RPG at 38 and 39 years of age. Although he was 38 and 39 years old, he still logged 36.1 minutes per game in those two years. Numbers that resemble signs of a man in his prime, but Kwame Brown recalled that he did not resemble what most were accustomed to.
