In one of his interviews with Vlad Tv, Gilbert Arenas goes in-depth about the skill and gameplay of Allen Iverson further talking about what he loved the most about him and how he defined him as a player. No one has ever doubted the playstyle and mentality Allen Iverson had during his NBA years and Arenas goes on to add more to it.

In his latest talks with VladTV Arenas goes on to mention how Allen Iverson played with a mentality strictly focused on the game. This made him one of the best players on the field from the Philadelphia Sixers and when Arenas had the chance to play against him, he witnessed his swift play with the dominant nature he possessed. He said, “If you want to know how good Allen Iverson was, look at the team he took to the championships.”

Arenas added to the credibility of how much AI deserved a championship if he was on a good team. Arenas added more to Allen Iverson stating that, “He had the white boy energy, the black man’s skill.” Iverson was one who would not be bullied by another and was always ready to put out his hundred percent in every way possible even if it meant going over to the exhaustion point.

This made him one of the few players on the field who had both the skills and mentality to push forward. Arenas also put Iverson on his list of him being one of the greatest players without a ring. This for sure adds to the fact of how hard Iverson used to play his entire career giving his best for a championship that he deserved.

When pointed out what happened with Cavs when LeBron James left. Arenas add on by saying jokingly, “oh that’s a fact,” to how much LeBron was carrying the Cavaliers during his time there. He made sure to take the team to heights that no one thought they will witness and the moment he left the Cavaliers the team slowly started to lose the pace that they had with LeBron.

The host even goes on to point out the meme that was circulating in which it was being said that LeBron should just get an MVP for the efforts he spent carrying the Cavaliers. But case in point, Arenas tried to put into perspective how important Allen Iverson was to the 76ers. The point guard is arguably the greatest ever in that position. The Sixers were heavily reliant on him to get to the top spots and the playoffs.
