There is no other modern-day player who has gathered as much praise as Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant. Be it with his vicious dunks, or un-selfish plays, or leaping blocks or brave leadership, the 22-year-old won hearts all over. However, as the stakes were ever so high in Warriors vs Grizzlies, it seemed Warriors’ young stud seems to have upset millions all around the globe, especially those who adore Ja Morant.

In the fourth quarter Morant was forced to exit the game after a potential knee injury, cause by Poole. Seeming to be at his ruthless best, Morant could not help but put-forward his instant reactions which seemed to have been caught in the wind. What does it say? Take a look below-

Shortly after the final buzzer, the Memphis Grizzlies superstar came out with a cryptic tweet that said, “broke the code.” Majority in the NBA world believe this was in reference to Jordan Poole appearing to pull on his knee as the Warriors guard attempted to steal the ball away from Ja. Morant quickly took down the tweet and it’s no longer on his profile right now. 

To those who are not aware, when Golden State Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr was asked upon Dillon Brooks after his flagrant-2 foul on Gary Payton II in Game 2, the former stated, “Broke the code.” Which could be a clear indication that Ja Morant took note of the coach’s words and came out with a highly cryptic message. 

In a video that went viral, it does clearly seem like Poole grabbed Morant’s knee rather than the ball.

Given that Grizzlies’ hope to make any bid for the championship depends upon the form and presence of their marquee 22-year-old, the official word of Morant is awaited by many. Where will the Grizzlies vs Warriors head after controversial Game 3? Remains to be seen, but for now all eyes will be on the hoop festivity of the playoffs with all four semi-final series being at 2-1.
