Dwyane Wade played a massive role in the franchise’s uprising and eventually, it moved into the hands of the King, LeBron James who helped them win two big titles. Right now, they are one of the top contenders in the league, leading the Eastern Conference in wins.

The last time the Heat made the NBA finals was in 2020 during the bubble season. That season was the first year Jimmy Butler took charge of leadership and they turned out to become of the biggest surprises as well. Since then, they have introduced several other key players to up their defensive-styled roster and those players have not disappointed either.

The Heat have been tearing through their opponents in the playoffs this year. They have really good chemistry which matters on a winning team and their determination to win has shown during their performances. Miami beat their first-round rivals 4-1 to close the series and they a looking to sweep the Philadelphia 76ers in round two.

The Heat took a 2-0 lead last night defeating the Sixers 119-103. Butler had 22 points, 12 assists, and 6 rebounds on 8-15 shooting. This was backed by 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists from defensive all-star Bam Adebayo. Their players had a combined total of 37 points, Victor Oladipo has shown impressive offensive power since his return. They shot 43.5% from the field and 94.4% from the free-throw line.

Dwyane Wade is hands down the greatest player the franchise had ever drafted and will continue to remain as such. The player helped the team win three championships, one in 2006 and then two more with LeBron in 2012 and 2013. The player retired following the 2018-19 season due to lingering injuries which made him understand he could not go further and risk further complications.

After retirement, Dwyane Wade became a minority owner of the Utah Jazz in April of 2021. He was in attendance during Game 2 after which he shared a moment with his former coach and teammates. Udonis Haslem approached the legend with a pair of his shoes gifting it to him. Wade laughed uncontrollably at the gesture. The two played together for 14 and a half years making it the second-longest tenure as teammates in NBA history.
