LeBron James in an uncharacteristic manner went scoreless in the first quarter attempting 0 field goals. He did respond as he scored 21 points in the next three quarters with efficiency (54.6 fg %) and hit half of his attempts from beyond the arc. LeBron was a +26 on the court still affecting the game at a high level given his age and could be seen completely out of gas on different occasions during timeouts.

Although Father time may not be catching up soon for the King, LeBron dedicated the Lakers win to his son Bronny James as he commits to USC for his collegiate career. The 38-year-old superstar went on after Game 3, “One of the best days of my life. Super proud of him. It’s even more special to me cause it’s the first time someone out of my family to go to college. No matter the outcome of this game, I couldn’t lose today.”

At this year’s McDonald’s All-American game, Bronny showed out by putting up 15 pts on 62% 3pt shooting with all his points coming beyond the arc, this game itself improved his draft stock significantly as he outplayed several top recruits. He also participated in the dunk contest and put up an absolute show.
