“If Ja can’t play tomorrow night, shouldn’t that mean Jordan Poole can’t either?” Skip Bayless launches another attack on Warriors stud ahead of crucial Game 4

“If Ja can’t play tomorrow night, shouldn’t that mean Jordan Poole can’t either?” Skip Bayless launches another attack on Warriors stud ahead of crucial Game 4

Veteran NBA analyst Skip Bayless launched an another scathing attack on NBA for not taking any action regarding the Jordan Poole-Ja Morant incident. An incident that occurred late in 4th quarter, in Game 3 at chase centre, and had Ja Morant end up with a knee injury. Poole appeared to have grabbed or taken a swipe at Ja Morant’s right knee, which ended up injuring him, while trying to attempt a steal. The incident led to n another controversy in the already dramatic Grizzlies-Warriors series. Bayless has sounded off on the NBA ever since they decided to  suspend Memphis forward Dillon Brooks for his ‘Flagrant 2’ foul against Gary Payton II in Game 3 in the 2nd round of playoffs.

The ‘Unbiased’ show co-host believes the league is favoring the likes of Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Bayless in his usual fashion went on an another rant against the NBA, writing in his latest tweet:

“So if Ja can’t play tomorrow night, shouldn’t that mean Jordan Poole can’t either? Isn’t that the way the NBA works now? Poole gone for Game 4.”

Skip Bayless from his ‘experience’ of watching the game from the comfort of his cozy couch, felt the Dillon Brooks suspension was preposterous and took a dig at the NBA for the suspension from Game 3  despite his foul leading to Gary Payton II fracturing his elbow, which will now see the latter miss three to five weeks of action.

Skip Bayless indirectly demanded that the NBA hand Jordan Poole a similar sort of punishment as Ja Morant may end up missing the crucial Game 4 at San Francisco and Game 5 contest for the Grizzlies at home. There is quite the lack of surity regarding Ja and his return to the game or even his status of injury.

However, the play in question doesn’t seem intentional or ‘dirty’ to many, especially former NBA players. Additionally, Morant suffered a knock on the same knee before the incident with Poole. With the playoffs being physical and the series taking a nasty turn from Game 1, it is difficult to point fingers and place an exact point or person of accusation for Ja’s injury.

Ja Morant has been on fire for the Memphis Grizzlies in their round two series against the Golden State Warriors thus far. He has averaged 38.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game. The next best player for Memphis in this contest has been forward Jaren Jackson Jr. Without Ja, the Grizzlies will have little chance of surviving an elite team in the form of Warriors.
