“I’m Better at Basketball Than You’re at Comedy!” Comedian Hasan Minhaj trash-talks with Giannis Antetokounmpo in an attempt to beat him at ‘Horse’
Comedian Hasan Minhaj filmed an ad shoot and a 'Horse' challenge with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and talked trash throughout
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Hasan Minhaj had an epic exchange while shooting for a commercial and playing a game of Horse. Hasan and Giannis were chirping all round, and Hasan was heard saying, “You might be number 1 in the league, but we all know number one in your family is Alex.” Giannis is in a family of four brothers, and Alex Antetokounmpo is the oldest.
“I want to wish this guy the best, man’ he’s fantastic. Great professional, knows his stuff,” said Giannis after beating Hasan at ‘Horse.’ Giannis, an NBA player, was expected to win, but the Greek Freak said he was impressed with Hasan Minhaj’s fitness in person. Minhaj is known for his stand-up comedy routines and late-night tv show.
While shooting around before Giannis showed up, Minhaj said, “I’m gonna tell him I’m better at basketball than you’re at comedy.” Antetokounmpo is known for his ‘dad jokes’ after games and has made teammates, media, and fans laugh at his jokes. Giannis is known for his humor off the court more than anything, making him such a loveable player in the NBA.

Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo go head-to-head in an MVP battle as the Bucks aim for a 60-win season
The Milwaukee Bucks are the only team left in the NBA that can attempt a 60-win season, but they will have to win every game left to achieve that. Giannis has been the stand-out performer for Milwaukee, as usual, this season averaging a career-high in points while being a stalwart on defense along with his front-court partner Brook Lopez.
Giannis has also attempted the freest throws of any player in the NBA this season as teams love fouling him, as he is a 70% free-throw shooter. However, Giannis has proved to everyone that in the clutch as he only missed two free throws in the 2021 Finals while scoring 50 points in the decisive game 6. Antetokounmpo can lead the Bucks to their first 60-win season since 2018/19.
The Greek Freak also won his first league MVP that season, and now he is fighting for his third. Giannis and Nikola Jokic went head-to-head on Saturday night, which saw Jokic’s team come out on top as both scored 31 points. Giannis could expect a Jokic lead Nuggets team to meet him in the NBA Finals, but he will have to get past Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers before that.
