“Barkley is a dumba**” Inside the NBA bursts out laughing as Ernie Johnson pranked Charles Barkley on LIVE TV

Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson

You must be aware that “Inside the NBA” on TNT is a must-watch if you’re an NBA fan. Charles Barkley is a genuine idiot, as he has often established. The gang from including Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith isn’t any different, and they once pulled off a tremendous prank on Chuck that hasn’t been topped since. We have witnessed Chuck being played by his crew members throughout the years, such as the time a cooler full of fish exploded, making Barkley jump. Since Shaq has also attempted to attack him, this is nothing new for the former power forward.

But one of the funniest childish pranks he ever got was when the legendary player for the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns, reading off the teleprompter, humorously called himself a “dumbass” in front of the crew. Chuck had to read from the teleprompter for a TNT campaign, so Ernie broke out the gags. EJ certainly appears to be a fan of The Anchorman, a 2004 Will Ferrell classic that went on to become a cult classic. Ernie enjoyed the humor in the movie so much that he was prepared to play Barkley for a fool.

Since the 1980s, Ernie Johnson has excelled as a presenter for Turner Studios. The PGA Tour and the FIFA World Cup have both been hosted by the celebrity anchor. He is most well-known, though, for his role in NBA TV and TNT coverage. Ernie has served as the group’s leader, along with notable members including Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith. Due to his humorous personality and upbeat on-air personality, EJ has perhaps become the most well-known name in American sports broadcasting.

Following a 16-year Hall of Fame career in the NBA, Charles Barkley retired from the league in 2000 and subsequently joined TNT and  Barkley played with the Philadelphia 76ers for the first eight of these. Barkley has become into a television sensation since joining the network’s NBA coverage, displaying many of the same outspoken traits he had during his playing days. Throughout his 21-year tenure on “Inside the NBA,” Barkley has received four Sports Emmy awards. As evidence of the show’s sense of humor and laid-back atmosphere, it has won several Sports Emmy Awards and been inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2016.

Charles Barkley was left speechless this one time when Ernie Johnson went on to prank him and left the whole studio laughing after this. Barkley is a dumba** was inserted between the paragraphs after Ernie altered the teleprompter’s script. Charles made himself out to be a total idiot when he said something that at the time nearly seemed prophetic. The Chuckster was easily tricked by EJ despite not being the sharpest of the group. This could rank right up there with the funniest practical jokes played on a camera crew. Barkley’s embarrassed grin attests to how funny the joke was.

Fans love this show so much because of moments like this that they’ve even labeled it the best NBA television programme. It’s fair to say that viewers already miss Shaq, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson on television even though we get to watch Barkley brawl with them each week until the end of the Finals. Chuck has stated his intention to move to LIV Golf telecasting, and it is anticipated that he would quit the Inside the NBA crew. We anticipate this man adding his humorous commentary and insightful analysis to everything that occurs within the league.
