LeBron James to team up with Steph Curry? NBA Insider calls it ‘MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN’
LeBron James and Steph Curry: A Dream Team or a Pipe Dream?

LeBron James and Stephen Curry have been the faces of the NBA for the past decade, leading their teams to multiple championships and MVP awards. They have also been fierce rivals, clashing in four straight NBA Finals from 2015 to 2018. But what if they decided to join forces instead of competing against each other?
That’s the intriguing scenario that The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor suggested in a recent article. He calls it a “match made in heaven” for both James and Curry.
“LeBron, now more than ever, needs an All-Star shot-creating teammate,” O’Connor wrote. “But in Golden State, Steph, who is no longer at his peak, could use a little extra push too. That’s why Golden State’s summer is so pivotal, as well. The union of Steph and LeBron seems like a match made in heaven, particularly as they enter the twilight of their careers.”
O’Connor’s idea is based on several assumptions and hypotheticals. Such as James opting out of his contract in 2024 to join Curry in Golden State, or Curry leaving the Warriors as a free agent to team up with James in Los Angeles.
Both scenarios would require a lot of financial maneuvering and sacrifices from both players and their respective teams, not to mention the potential backlash from fans and media.

Could LeBron James and Stephen Curry team up in the NBA?
O’Connor also pointed out that both James and Curry have expressed mutual respect and admiration for each other over the years, despite their on-court rivalry.
“He puts in the work. And when you put in the work, nine times out of 10, you’re going to see the results. And he’s done that throughout his whole entire career,” James said of Curry. Curry echoed similar sentiments about James, saying he was “inspired” by his longevity and greatness. “He’s been doing it at such a high level for so long,” Curry said. “And there’s no signs of him slowing down.”
While it may seem far-fetched to imagine James and Curry playing together on the same team, stranger things have happened in the NBA. After all, who would have thought that James would join forces with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, or that Kevin Durant would leave Oklahoma City to join Curry’s Warriors?
