LeBron James once again has Eric Lewis officiating his game. In case one doesn’t remember, he’s the same referee who officiated the infamous Los Angeles Lakers -Boston Celtics Game. In that particular game, Lewis stole the dub from the Los Angeles-based team by not calling a foul on Jayson Tatum and sending James to the line in the clutch, with the game-winning basket on the line. This time the Los Angeles Lakers met Lewis in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals and the story was no different as they lost against the Golden State Warriors.

This game had some questionable calls too. But, Klay Thompson and Anthony Davis were one of the main reasons behind the Los Angeles Lakers losing the game and the series being tied at 1-1. Thompson balled out for his team with 30 points, while Davis disappointed his team and failed to have two straight good games. LeBron James, though did his work and contributed with all his efforts during the 127-100 loss of the Lakers.

Many fans believe it was Eric Lewis who had the Los Angeles Lakers land on the unfortunate losing end. But that was not really the case, as Lewis is an experienced official who knows how to do his job. He comes from a hooping background and has suited up for the Main Land High School before becoming a full-time ref. Eric Lewis was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and has officiated in various NCAA conferences. He joined the league as a ref in the 2004-05 seasons.

Just some weeks ago they won Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies, where LeBron James dominated the life out of his opponents. And, it was officiated by Eric Lewis.

The Lakers Nation now must stop criticizing and trolling Eric Lewis, as he clearly isn’t bad luck for LeBron James. The fans should now pray for Anthony Davis to show up against the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors and support LeBron James in recording some dubs so they can have a real shot at the NBA Title. Also, they’ll be meeting Eric Lewis again if the league wants to.
