Is Luka Doncic playing tonight against the Utah Jazz in Game 4?

Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic injured his calf in during the Dallas Maverick’s last season game against the San Antonio Spurs which has now cost him the first 3 games of the first-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz. The Mavericks who currently lead the series by 2-1 managed to display that Luka’s absence hasn’t really affected them adversely but their star player getting back to the squad wouldn’t do anything, but good for the team. Despite of optimistic reports that had been coming out since the past few weeks, there is still no surety about Doncic’s presence on court in game 4.

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks have worked hard entire season to get to the playoffs and hopefully also get their hands at the championship this year, but the way things went down for the team during the very ending of the regular season, it didn’t really seem like they ended their regular season on a positive note Doncic was expected to miss the last game against San Antonio Spurs due to his technical foul count but that was taken back by the Leage due to which the Mavericks’ star played the game and ended up injuring himself via a calf strain, also making him miss the first 3 games of the series against Utah Jazz.

The Utah Jazz missed their only chance of taking control of this series against the Dallas Mavericks which was there during the absence of Doncic. The team managed to get a close margin victory against the rivals in the first game, but after that, they succumbed to the pressure put up by the Mavs in game 2 and 3, and now trail by 2-1 in the series. Even in Doncic’s absence, the Mavs managed to hold the Jazz down to the floor, and things definitely will be tough for the Jazz when Doncic returns, and that is something that they would definitely not want.
