“This is where Green was masterful the other night” Isiah Thomas details how Stephen Curry and Draymond Green thumped Celtics in Game 4
Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Isiah Thomas
Isiah Thomas recently appreciated the unintentional greats of Draymond Green in Game 4 of NBA Finals against Boston Celtics at TD Garden. After the washed and waste performance of the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 all because of Draymond Green having zero impact in the game. Stephen Curry took over and delivered a monstrous performance in Game 4 with former DPOY backing him up. Their performance has Isiah Thomas impressed after he mentioned how out of focus the defensive expert was. The Finals are now tied at 2-2 and Chef has started cooking after dropping a 40-point bomb on the head of the Celtics.
The Boston Celtics hosted the Dubs at TD Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The home crowd showcased their sweet hospitality again by chanting “Fu*k You Draymond” and booing him down to earth’s core. But Stephen Curry got the revenge for the disrespect his mate had to face. As running the offensive end single-handedly he dropped 43 points, 4 assists, and 10 rebounds. The game was closely contested and head to head for the first two quarters but the last two were ruled by the Chef and the Warriors themselves. The final box score stands at 97-107 favoring the Warriors. The Warriors were better than the Celtics on all ends of the game in the last quarter.
Isiah Thomas though has made some unreal and interesting observations spectating the game as after Steph his hero to ride with was Draymond Green. As he believes he was masterful the other night and had some unintentional greats. Draymond Green in the game dropped 2 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. He was comparatively better and lived up to the expectations on the defensive end and even Celtics fans were letting him know by their chants that he’s trying his best.

Isiah Thomas on Draymond Green’s impact in Game 4
Isiah Thomas after appreciating and praising the greatest shooter of all time speaking about Draymond Green’s impact quoted: “This is where Draymond was masterful at the other night. Just like [Bill] Lambeer did for us, sometimes he put on the black hat and the crowd was like ‘Oh Lambeer, you suck. Lambeer you suck’ and me, Joe [Dumars] and Vinnie [Johnson] was running out there just free, knocking shots down and everybody was ‘Boo Lambeer.’ So that Garden crowd has so much focus and attention on Draymond that Steph Curry was just floating around and killing it.”
Many believe Isiah Thomas is right with his take and Draymond Green is really living out there rent-free in the heads of the Celtics fans. That they forgot they also have Stephen Curry as a rival who was monstrous the other night. Honestly, many around know that Chef will always be the problem and not Green. Because he is limited to the defensive end while Curry is doing it all. So Isiah Thomas’ take can be a great piece of advice for the Celtics’ fans when the Dubs return to TD Garden for Game 6.
