After leading majority of the night on their home turf, the Minnesota Timberwolves were once again bullied by the late surge of Memphis Grizzlies as they scored a staggering tally of 40-points in the fourth quarter. While the home team gave up on a 10-point lead which they held at the end of the third quarter, Ja Morant and veteran Patrick Beverley shared a wholesome moment in the latter stages of the game.

While Ja Morant was well below his best in Game 6, Grizzlies were led by Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks as they registered 23 points each against their name. Jaren Jackson Jr’s contribution was valuable as well, as he ended up scoring 18 points. After which Ja and Brandon Clarke scored 17 points each.

Just like Ja Morant, Patrick Beverley was too not at his best as he just did not miss a clutch 3-pointer which potentially could have eventually sent the game to OT or perhaps even better, latter ended up scoring 10 points in over 37 minutes of game-time.

From Jaren Jackson Jr to Dillon Brooks to Ja Morant each and every Memphis Grizzlies marquee would need to be at their best in the semi-finals series if this young squad is looking to cause an upset against the Western Conference giants.

Will they be able to bring down a super-force down the hill? Remains to be seen, but for now a big and heartiest congratulations to the Grizzlies for making it into the semi-finals of WC.
