Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies are head-locked in the semi-final series against experienced and in-form Golden State Warriors. While the former might have secured a better position in the Western Conference ladder in the regular season, but now they are heading into the business end with Dubs having all of their assets at their disposal.

Given that stars like Ja Morant, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr need to bring their A-Game to the table if the home team wants to draw the first blood, they surely are leaving no stone unturned in showing their strength on as well as off the court.

The Memphis Grizzlies have just managed to edge past Golden State Warriors going into halftime. During a particular play in the first half, Desmond Bane showed his strength by shoving away Stephen Curry, and to make matters worse the former went onto knock a sensational 3-pointer of the face of the King from downtown. Having the live visual from the best angle, Ja Morant started celebrating even before Bane took the shot. 

Surely it shows the trust Ja Morant has in his teammates. That being said let us discuss the Game 1 credentials until the halftime mark. The home team has stood up to the former champions uptil now, having being led by Morant with 18 points and Jaren Jackson Jr with 14 points.

Now with Draymond Green being ejected, it remains to be seen how effectively Warriors are able to defend the Grizzlies young stars. Especially with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry having 3 personal fouls registered against their names, this could prove to be a huge factor in deciding the outcome of Game 1 of this particular semi-final series. 

Who among Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors will draw first blood? Who will take the early advantage? Remains to be seen as the hoop festivity continues.
