“Seems like a cry for help” – Ja Morant’s CRYPTIC deleted IG stories leaves NBA fans afraid

The situation around Ja Morant‘s gun controversy is heating up day by day. As the NBA investigates the Memphis Grizzlies star’s recent controversy, all eyes are on commissioner Adam Silver. On the other hand, Morant has been receiving a lot of criticism on social media. Many fans, critics and media persons are calling out the young guard for his careless and irresponsible behavior. After all, this was the second time in three months, Morant was seen flashing a gun on Instagram Live.

There’s no doubt that the backlash from the NBA community has adverse effects on any player. As fans call for a strict punishment, many speculate that Morant’s NBA career might in danger. With this kind of atmosphere around him, he was bound to feel the Heat. Morant had previously revealed that he struggled with problems related to anxiety. However, he recently posted stories on Instagram that left many fans and followers concerned. Although they are now deleted, many are worried for his safety.

Ja Morant posted a total of four images on his Instagram stories. The first was an image of him with his mom, followed by that of his father and then his three-year-old daughter. Morant captioned the first three pictures saying how much he loved them. The fourth image was of himself captioned “bye.” Although Morant’s cryptic messages were not direct, many are now calling them a cry for help as they assume the worst. Fans are also calling for his loved ones to check up on and take care of him as the guard would need their support the most in these times of adversity. The league is yet to announce a penalty for the Grizzlies guard. However, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver had revealed earlier that he is “assuming the worst” in the situation regarding Morant. While we speculate the intention behind his recent Instagram posts there’s no doubt that everyone are hoping for his well being. Keeping his controversial actions aside, Morant is an exceptional talent with a promising NBA career if he stays out of trouble. No one would want to see him meeting an unexpected and unfortunate end.
