“I run this damn show” Ja Morant disrespects entire Timberwolves with wild block in Game 3

Grizzlies star guard JA Morant was the biggest maniac on the floor against their Western Conference rival as his domination in defense led Memphis to victory over Minnesota by 104-95 in Game 3 of round one on Thursday night.
The Grizzlies whole squad changed the tide of the game in the second half as they overcome a 26-point deficit. The start of the round one series was not good for Morant and Co. but in their last two games, the team has really shown why they were the second-best team in the whole NBA during the regular season. The Timberwolves were looking good from the start of game 3 and started tightening their grip on the Grizzlies and in the mid of the second quarter the score reached 47-21.
The Grizzlies were moving on the way to an embarrassing loss, but things started changing drastically in the second half of the game where the Memphis-based franchise not only stopped the offense of the Timberwolves but also shattered their defense. The Grizzlies busted with 37-12 in the fourth quarter to tie the biggest comeback victory in the history of their franchise.

In this whole game, JA Morant was one of the shortest players on the court but that didn’t stop him to block the high air shots. Morant scored 16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists with three blocks, and one steal. Through his explosive jumps, the former ROTY was leading the Grizzlies defense even in the condition where he was highly booed by the Wolves fans.

In the postgame conference, JA Morant didn’t miss the chance to take a dig at the Wolves fans and their whole squad.
“Good I’m disrespectful just like they disrespectful,” Morant said. “That’s why I threw that ball in the air, I know what we’re capable of and like I said like this morning that was our goal come in, to win games on the road and have their fans go home mad, it’d probably be a lot of people drinking tonight”
“Keep fighting,” Morant added. “We’ve been in situations where we were down a lot and came back and won. The message was just to continue fight we go out in battle and we all know the game is never over to zeros on the clock at the end so that was pretty much the message and just staying together.”
The Memphis Grizzlies are now leading the series by 2-1, it will be interesting to watch whether Minnesota Timberwolves will be able to take the revenge for the disrespect they faced from Morant and Co.
