“I’ll probably leave KD alone” Jabari Smith Jr reveals true intentions of trash talking Draymond Green and Ja Morant
Jabari Smith Jr. is ready and locked in from the upcoming NBA season. The league is a very tough space and it takes a tougher individual to survive to become great. It is very rare to find potential that would soar to the levels of all-time great status but players often work towards their Kodak moment to earn his place in history.
Speaking about the league being a tough space, this also includes criticism from the fans on courtside or even heckling over the internet. Many time players have battled with fans talking trash and even running their mouth within themselves on the court. A classic example would be Draymond Green and the Boston Celtics fans or Ja Morant and his confidence to dominate.
Jabari Smith Jr. says he is excited about trashing talking
When an individual steps on the court, other players would do or say anything to distract you from playing the game. Michael Jordan was on that level where he would get inside his opponents head and dominate. Jabari Smith Jr. revealed during an interview with Bleacher Report that he was very excited to start trash talking his peers.
“Yea… I’m not the type to just go at you first but like if you say something to me, Imma be in your ear for the rest of the game,” he said. “There’s a lot of trash talkers in the league so… I would probably say like Draymond Green, Ja Morant… they say Kevin Durant is a really good trash talker he’s kinda like that… he won’t say nothing if you don’t say nothing, I’m probably gonna just leave him alone,” he said on who he wants to trash talk on the court.
Jabari Smith Jr. becomes a potential threat on the Houston Rockets
Jabari Smith Jr. was drafted third overall by the Houston Rockets. He is a very promising young athlete who is driven by his talent to become the best among the best. He was an All-American prospect who played for the Auburn Tigers in college. As a high schooler he averaged 24.5 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks per game.
After committing to Auburn, he averaged 16.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game as a freshman. He was name SEC freshman of the year and also made the All-SEC first team as well. A little known fact he also won the gold medal during the under 19 FIBA Americas Championship in 2019. Smith Jr. shows immense potential and will dominate the league in his time.
