What was opinionated by Jalen Rose?
On ESPN’s “Get Up”, former NBA player Jalen Rose dished out heavy praise for the youngsters in the league, “I feel like the league is in the best position that it’s been in, since Michael Jordan retired. Just think about this – when you guys were voting for your MVPs this year, no Kawhi, KD, LeBron or Steph.”
Given that all these veteran MVPs are approaching the end of their career, players like Young, Morant have just started bursting onto the big stage.
To be precise on one hand where Trae Young has led his Atlanta Hawks to the playoffs for the second consecutive time, JA Morant has ensured that Memphis Grizzlies emerge as a force to reckon with since the beginning of the 2021-22 season. Adding to rise of a young rivalry, Anthony Edwards too has often fetched headlines with his all-round effort on the court, transforming the entire image of Timberwolves. Lastly LaMelo Ball needs no introduction as he managed to become the prime focus on MJ’s Charlotte Hornets.
He concluded by stating, “I wanna parachute myself into the Minnesota-Memphis series. The Grizzlies who outplayed expectations this year, became the number two seed. You guys mentioned the superstar that is Ja Morant – they’re now trailing in that series, to another young superstar Karl-Anthony Towns [and] Anthony Edwards, playing really well in that series.”
But is Jalen Rose’s opinion, right? Remains to be a matter of opinion as some might suggest that veterans like LeBron, Steph and KD have managed to lead their teams even so late in their career. Moreover, produced some of the best numbers in their respective careers.
