“I don’t wanna see people smiling” James Harden demand his Sixers teammate to be at their most ferocious
James Harden realised his time was running short last season and quickly decided he wanted out of whatever conspired at Brooklyn. Having being sent to a much stable situation, he seems as driven as he can be moving into the brand new season.
The Beard spoke to NBC Sports saying,“I’m just happy to be out there, fresh and new season, and an opportunity to be the last team standing.” He was the closest he has ever been to winning the title since 2018. But injuries got the best of the Philadelphia 76ers.
But this season brings a whole new mindset for the player,“I think it’s just me having an attack mindset and an aggressive mindset, for the most part. Me trying to get into the paint and me being aggressive, whether it’s passing or it’s scoring, that’ll make it easy. Just be in attack mode for the full 48 minutes and good things will happen.”
James Harden has generally been a offensively gifted player who loved attacking the basketball while utilising the best of his ball handling capabilites. Last season saw an abrupt entrance of the Beard but now that they have spent more time practicing together, it could have a much bigger outcome.
