“This is not the NFL” Jaxson Hayes gets brutally trolled by fans after getting ejected over an unnecessary shove on Jae Crowder
Jaxson Hayes and Jae Crowder
Jaxson Hayes has not had the best reputation in the NBA especially in his life outside of the league. He is known for getting physical at any given time and seems to have quite the temper as well. His actions may have caused the New Orleans Pelicans a potential series take in Game.
The Phoenix Suns were able to come back after an unfortunate loss in Game 2. One of the biggest reasons for the loss was Devin Booker’s hamstring sprain that took him out of the game halfway through. However, the Suns did not slow down in Game 3 as Chris Paul continued his dominance on the court. The Suns have taken a 2-1 lead with a chance to further extend it by two games on Sunday.
Jaxson Hayes gets ejected after shoving Suns player to the ground
During the second quarter of the game, the Suns were up by 2-points with 5:19 minutes left to end the half. In an attempt to tie the game, CJ McCollum took possession of the ball and shot a mid-range jumper thus tying the scores at 43. In what seemed like a very unnecessary act of violence, Jaxson Hayes had shoved Jae Crowder to the ground to avoid the Suns from grabbing a rebound.
Crowder sprung up in frustration charging at the Pelicans center when the whistle was blown. Hayes was ejected from the game after receiving a flagrant foul for unnecessary contact made. He is one of the most important players on the Pelicans roster for defensive purposes and played a much-needed role during their win last game. However, this was not the first time he tried to hurt the opposition’s player. Mikal Bridges fell victim to his physical nature earlier in the game but was not seen as much of a deal. Fans came to Suns’ support with these commments.
Suns deliver a beautiful performance without guard Devin Booker
Game 3 looked like a possible letdown for Phoenix after Booker’s exit. However, Chris Paul worked his magic and led the team past the Pelicans finishing with 28 points, 14 assists, and 4 rebounds on zero turnovers. CP3 has recorded 28 assists in the last two games without turning the ball over. Deandre Ayton scored 28 points and 17 rebounds taking over in the paint.
In Game 2, Booker left the game due to hamstring tightness which was later identified as a grade 1 sprain. Brain Windhorst revealed that sources said Booker would require 2-3 weeks of rehabilitation before coming back to lead the Suns in the playoffs. Booker scored 31 points in the first half of Game 2 before he made his exit. Suns will need him in future games if they qualify for the semi-finals as he is an integral part of their offense.
