There is no question to the sheer talent of Jayson Tatum. The player has been a key asset to the Boston Celtics this season especially on offense with the capability of exploding in scoring. He is now in his fifth season since turning pro in the NBA and proceeds to battle it out in the finals versus the Golden State Warriors.
The Celtics have high chances of taking home their first title in over a decade. One of the reasons is their elite defense that has helped tear down top players and teams in the league. Marcus Smart has been labelled as the key to them winning as he is the only person who can stop the Dub’s scoring from Stephen Curry. Boston has taken an early lead after winning Game 1.
Rapper Jay Z shows love to young Jayson Tatum following Celtics fourth quarter thriller
Jay Z was one of the attendees during Game 1 of the NBA finals. The Grammy Award winning recording artists has often been in attendance for games such as this. He is a big fan of the Brooklyn Nets as he is a native of the same city. The Nets were unfortunately swept by the Celtics in the first round of the post-season.
The rapper and his wife have previously attended the NBA finals, more notably in 2016 and 2019 when the Warriors faced the Cleveland Cavaliers and then the Toronto Raptors. Jay Z showed up at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Jayson Tatum and the Rapper were seen embracing each other after Boston’s historic fourth quarter comeback.

Boston Celtics bag an early victory to kick start their first ever NBA finals
Golden State almost had an easy victory after putting two 30-point quarters. They had 32 points by the end of the first 12 minutes and then erupted with 38 points in the third quarter. Boston was down by almost 15 towards the end of the third quarter and managed to take the lead up to double digits as well.
They scored 40 points in the final quarter limiting the Warriors offense to 16 points. They shot 50.6% from the field, 51.2% from three and 81.3% from the free throw line. Al Horford led the team in points with 26 as well as 6 three-pointers. Jaylen Brown and Derrick White had a combined score of 45 points. Jayson Tatum finished with 12 points and 13 assists.
