Jaylen Brown delivers stern warning to rest of NBA after impressive win without marquee Jayson Tatum

Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are the top two duo in the league if not the best. Both the Celtics star have not only performed admirably in the past few seasons but successfully made their journey to the NBA finals last season. Brown has considerably increased his points and production over the last few years and has shown great potential for being a superstar in the league.

According to Jaylen Brown, the Celtics as a team is way stronger than can perform better which the league hasn’t seen yet. When asked by the reporter where the Celtics were as a team, “I think we’re in a good spot and I think we still haven’t played our best ball yet,” Brown said confidently. In the game against the Washington Wizards, the Celtics came to the court without their scoring leader and superstar Jayson Tatum. Jaylen Brown did not shy away from taking charge of the offense and scored season-high 36 points on the Wizards’ defense.

Brown however pointed out their missing defense this season. Interestingly last year, Boston had the best defense in the league. According to the Celtics guard, so far this season they have kept their focus on offense and let it dictate their game. “Defensively I think we can pick it up….we have let our offense dictate things,” Brown said. However, Brown made it clear that whatever spot they are in right now, he is fine with it. He also mentioned that the guys on the roster are inspired and want to be aggressive on the offense.

Brown rose up to the occasion and proved that he could rise and lead a team to victory when needed. “I enjoyed just playing basketball, Brown said. “It’s what the season is about. There’s going to be….We’ve got to be able to maintain our level of play when our big dog is not in the rotation. It was fun.
