“Hates women beaters and supports Palestine” – Jaylen Brown gets celebrated by NBA fans for liking tweet slandering Miles Bridges’ domestic violence

Jaylen Brown is a gentleman athlete. He has never been involved in any scandals or controversies to date and he does speak up against those who do wrong. Such as his support for Palestine. The Boston Celtics superstar decided to show his support against such wrongdoings through his social media account. He liked a post that showed Miles Bridges‘ domestic violence incident. Fans across the globe celebrated Brown calling out players for their misdeeds.
During the trade deadline, Miles Bridges was the subject of constant trade talks. But he decided to veto the trades. The Charlotte Hornets had no choice but to keep Bridges. During this trade chatter, a fan had posted a tweet slandering Bridges’ domestic violence felony. Jaylen Brown liked the post. This support for slandering a woman beater was received with immense celebrations from fans. After all, he indirectly slandered one of his fellow athletes for their wrongdoings.
Back in 2022 Miles Bridges was charged with felony domestic violence against his former partner who is also the mother of his two children. He turned himself in and was charged. In a deal with the prosecution, Bridges was sentenced to three years of probation along with several hours of community service. He was also issued a 10-year protective order to stay away from the woman.
The league had conducted its own investigation the result of which was a 30-game suspension. He did not sign a contract with any team during that time. So 20 of those suspended games were already served. Hence he faced the remaining 10-game suspension after receiving a contract from the Hornets.

It is not often that a superstar takes a stand against something negative, especially against a fellow athlete. Not even in the same league. But Brown showing support for slander against Bridges for his past actions was well received.
A keen-eyed fan noticed Brown’s support of the slander for justice. Screenshots of Brown liking the post started going viral on the internet. Check out some of the reactions fans gave watching Brown’s ‘Like’.
Seeing the reaction of the fans, Jaylen Brown has since removed the like from the post maybe to avoid any unnecessary controversy. But for whatever few hours he did support the slander publicly, he drew immense praise for his stand.
