Jaylen Brown became the highest-paid player in the NBA for a short period of time after he signed a massive contract with the Boston Celtics. He signed a five-year $304 million contract with the Celtics, which will pay him $69.1 million in the final year of his contract. Jaylen is an incredibly talented player, but a contract of this size was not justified in a lot of fans’ eyes.

In comparison, Jaylen Brown has been the second-best player on the Celtics for the longest time and has not led his team to success but has played a significant part in it. Burrow is a top 3 player in the league. The same can’t be said about Brown.

The only reason Brown is getting paid more than Burrow is that the Bengals have to sign fifty-four players to their team and manage their finances accordingly, in comparison to the Celtics, who have to sign 15 players.
