Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors played host to the Boston Celtics in an entertaining game of Basketball at the Chase Center, in San Francisco. The Warriors won in overtime 132-126 after a clutch performance by Curry, thus ending the Celtics’ five-game winning streak.

Curry led the way for the Warriors, ending the game with 33 points, three rebounds and six assists. Coming off a disappointing game last time at the Portland Trail Blazers where he failed to score any of his three points attempts, had 6/11 of his three-point shots against the Celtics.

The game witnessed a moment where Jaylen Brown, who has been playing the best game of his career, for the Boston Celtics in the third quarter of the game got his side 13 points ahead and earned a foul. He resorted to his “too little celebration” in an attempt to taunt Curry.

Curry responded in kind when with 12 seconds left on the clock struck a three-pointer to silence the Celtics. Responding to Brown saying, “But I am small.” Brown ended the game with 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Steph Curry once again bailed out the Warriors with a clutch performance as he led the Dubs to an overtime 132-126 victory. The Celtics had raced to a 40-30 1st quarter lead only to be pegged back by the Warriors 32-25 in the second quarter, ending the half with a three-point lead. Brown at one point in the game throws shades at Curry who both have a rocky past.

Curry returned the favor with a “dagger” three-pointer response and this sent social media ablaze with fans going to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their views.

Curry this season is averaging 28.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists. The Warriors having now won three games in a row, welcome the Washington Wizards next.
