Jayson Tatum has captivated the NBA world with his remarkable rise to stardom. A legend in the making, the Boston Celtics superstar recently joined hands with Kevin Hart and appeared on his popular show “Cold as Balls”. Hart, who is often made fun of for his stature, was absolutely roasted by Tatum.

Hart, an avid Philadelphia 76ers fan, a team that has nurtured a fierce rivalry with the Celtics in recent years, engaged in an exchange of playful banter with Tatum throughout the episode. However, he never anticipated that the Celtics superstar would execute the prank that kicked off the episode.

Tatum said, “I got a surprise for you. A little gift. This is my son’s jersey. But they told me it might fit. I know how much you love the Celtics.”

The funniest moment undoubtedly came when Tatum playfully placed the tiny jersey on Hart, joking about his love for the Celtics, even though Hart is a dedicated 76ers fan. Hart is well-accustomed to people making fun of his height and he certainly took the hilarious prank graciously.

Jayson Tatum and the Celtics are poised for a strong season

Since the rise of their superstars, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics have been consistent contenders for the NBA title in recent seasons. They reached the NBA Finals in 2022 but were ultimately defeated by the Golden State Warriors. Despite their strong postseason performances, the Celtics have been unable to secure the coveted NBA championship.

The Celtics have strengthened their lineup with significant additions, including the acquisition of Kristaps Porzingis in a notable offseason trade. The thought of having Tatum, Brown, and Porzingis together on the team has Celtics fans excited for the future.

They further fortified their bench by adding power forward Grant Williams to the mix. The Celtics also rewarded their superstar, Jaylen Brown, with a monumental contract extension, agreeing to the richest deal in NBA history—a $304 million extension.

Although they lost a key player in Marcus Smart, who was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for draft considerations, they still boast a strong roster to compete for the ultimate gold.
