Jayson Tatum wasn’t taking any Ls against the Brooklyn Nets in their second matchup of the first-round playoff series which saw the Boston Celtics defeating their rivals with a 7-point margin. The Nets who were expected to rebound from their loss in the first game which saw the heroics of Tatum lost yet another game and they now trail by 2-0 against the Celtics. The major aim was to lock up and stop Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, which the Celtics were successfully able to do for the entirety of the game, therefore making their job a bit easier than was expected.
Despite the lockup of both the main players, getting a win wasn’t going to be a walk on a cake and the Celtics had to strive for it, leading to a major comeback.

Jayson Tatum led the way for his team in comeback just like every other time and brought them the much-needed win unlike what everyone expected. Reacting to the comeback, Tatum said, “This was like an old-fashioned. old-school playoff game. You just have to grind it out. That’s what we did… we just just stuck with it. Proud of the guys and how we kept responding all game.” while Irving said, “They took the lead and they never looked back in that fourth quarter. We don’t really have time to be disappointed, to hold our heads. This is part of playoff basketball.”

Boston Celtics led the comeback in the second half when they completely locked up Kevin Durant and Tatum took over the arena as he scored 19 points in the second half while Jaylen Brown scored 22 points.
Tatum was fired up during the comeback of his team due to which he also ended up almost fighting the Brooklyn Nets. With about 1 minute 30 seconds on the clock in the 2nd quarter, Al Horford banked in a 3-pointer following which Tatum slightly pushed Nic Claxton and then the player pushed him back.

Tatum then tried to get close and pushed him harder as the player went away. Things got heated up and they got two technical fouls. With right under a minute left in the 2nd quarter, Tatum banked in a 3-pointer after which he was seen trash talking Kevin Durant.
