“Mickey Mouse player” – Jayson Tatum gets DESTROYED for abysmal second-half performance in Celtics’ Game 1 loss to Heat

Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics faced off in the Eastern Conference Finals for Game 1 of the series. Boston Celtics, who were coming off a tremendous win in Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers, suffered a tragic defeat in Game 1 against the Heat. The Jimmy Butler-led Heat dismantled the Celtics’ defense to take over the 2nd half and win the game 123-116. The highlight of the show wasn’t any of this but rather the horrendous performance from Game 7 hero Jayson Tatum.
It does come off as a surprise that Tatum would give an abysmal performance after Game 7 against the 76ers. But Tatum’s stats in this game were far worse than how impressive his 51-point play in game 7 against the 76ers was. Tatum scored zero FGs and zero rebounds in the 4th quarter while adding three turnovers. To make matters worse, he also had two back-to-back travels during the same period.
Thanks to such a performance by their star player, the Boston Celtics lost the lead they gained in the first half. They ended up losing the game after Tatum’s no-show, which surprisingly isn’t new. This is the FIFTH time in Jayson Tatum‘s postseason career that he’s attempted zero FG in a quarter and the first this postseason. This track record from the star is surely a reason for the Celtics to worry.
Tatum was nowhere to be seen when his team needed him the most. It was only a matter of time before fans would be after him.

Fans RIDICULE Jayson Tatum for HORRENDOUS fourth quarter against Miami Heat
Jayson Tatum has potentially been one of the most impactful players in the postseason so far, even beyond the Celtics. His record-setting heroics in Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers were a sight to behold. But, since then, Tatum seems to have taken a backseat, or at least that is what it seems like.
Despite the fact that he scored 30 points in the Game, his performance in the fourth quarter was shameful. You best believe fans would go after Tatum for the same. Let us take a look at some of the fan reactions to Tatum’s horrendous performance.
It’ll be important for the Celtics to bring Tatum back in form and let him go against his track record. If Tatum sticks to no-shows in the 4th quarter, the Celtics will have a tough time going ahead. Game 2 between the Celtics and the Heat goes down on Saturday!
