“Don’t care if you’re THE KING or GREEK FREAK” Jayson Tatum posterizes Giannis Antetokounmpo with insane in dunk Game 3
Jayson Tatum continues to show the world what he is capable of regardless of being a rather young player in the league. During the regular season, he helped his team get up the conference rankings with a record of 51 wins and 31 losses. This was their best regular-season performance since the 2017-2018 season with superstar Kyrie Irving.
The Boston Celtics were able to put on a spectacular defensive performance during the first round of the playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets. Tatum was once again tearing through defenses averaging 29.5 points per game shooting 45.5% from the field. He also held tight defense against the Nets veteran Kevin Durant who failed to have any effect thus getting swept in the series.
Jayson Tatum takes on the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs
After two games, the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics were tied with one win apiece. The star happened to be Jaylen Brown who had a 30-point performance including 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. Jayson Tatum also played well finishing with 29 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists on 10 of 20 shooting from the field. The Celtics had 10 steals and 5 blocks during the game.
Game 3 was a complete turn of events after Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a historic 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists in the game to help the Bucks extend their lead 2-1 in the series. The Celtics had 13 massive blocks but failed to convert on offense. Jayson had only 10 points with Al Horford (22 points and 16 rebounds) and Brown (27 points and 12 rebounds) finishing with double-doubles.
Jayson Tatum slams the ball over the former defensive player of the year
Jayson Tatum had one of his biggest highlights last night after slamming the ball over Antetokounmpo. But the player may have injured himself after getting down from the jam.
In the replay, it showed that the Greek Freak’s hand got entangled with Tatum’s as he dunked the ball and hit the backboard.
This may have been the reason why he did not have much of a performance either. He would later reveal that his wrist had impacted him negatively. “I was probably thinking a little bit too much. It all comes down to I’ve got to better reads,” he said. Boston will have their chance to tie to series again on Monday, at the Fiserv Forum, Wisconsin.
