Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are officially the best active young duo in the NBA and now there’s no doubt about it. Winning the Eastern Conference Finals in seven games the Boston Celtics have now advanced to the 2022 NBA Finals and will be facing the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors. The eastern conference finals series between Miami Heat and Boston Celtics is surely fan favorite as it got extended to Game 7, was heated and full of action which also involved many controversial calls. But it all comes to an end as the Celtics pull down the curtains on Miami and it all came possible because of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown stepping up when the team needed them the most. Even Marcus Smart has played an important role throughout the stretch backing up the star duo of the franchise on both the ends.

The Boston Celtics were hosted by the Miami Heat at FTX Arena for Game 7 of the eastern conference finals. It was a do-or-die situation for both the teams and the game was also the most important game of their season and the Celtics surviving it all got a trip to the NBA Finals after a decade-long of hard work and efforts. The game wasn’t closely contested and head to head during the first quarter as the Jayson Tatum-led Boston Celtics outscored the Miami Heat by 32-17 early. But soon things got very unpredictable as Jimmy Butler started to dominate both the ends against the Celtics and it was a two-point game in the final seconds. But Jimmy Butler wasn’t able to finish it and ended up on the losing end. While the Celtics under the leadership of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown got the dub. The final box score stands at 100-96 favoring the Celtics.

Jayson Tatum (Eastern Conference Finals MVP) in the game dropped 26 points, 6 assists, and 10 rebounds. While he was backed up by Jaylen Brown (24 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds) and Marcus Smart (24 points, 5 assists, and 9 rebounds). This successful run in the eastern conference wouldn’t be possible if the Celtics early this season made some decisions after hearing out the criticism from many around for their all-star duo. Many critics, analysts, fans, and even commentators watching the Celtics struggle during the start of the season said that the franchise should stick around Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown. As both of them can never win together. But that just didn’t age well as they recorded the biggest W last night and now are preparing themselves to go all in and against of the Golden State Warriors.

After getting the dub the Boston Celtics were all over the home court of Miami Heat celebrating their success. Jayson Tatum dapped up his brother like teammate Jaylen Brown and hugging him quoted: “They said we couldn’t play together”. These words of Jayson Tatum were very emotional and meant a lot as early during the season the duo was lashed out on social media and many wanted them to split up. But fortunately, the front office of the Boston Celtics had them paired together and sticked with the decision of building around them and not any one of them.

That decision has finally paid off and the Boston Celtics will be going to the NBA Finals after a decade-long of struggles and unsuccessful tries since 2016. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have lived up to the expectations and have nothing to prove to anyone around especially regarding their chemistry and game as a duo at Boston Celtics. Because they led their team to the finals going through the toughest post-season road and won it all.
