Charles Barkley and the Golden State Warriors have not had the best relationship over the years. It is not what it may sound like, the legend is usually extremely appreciative of the players on the roster but it is the fans who he has a problem with. Their hatred was put on display during the entire Western Conference Finals Series.
As you probably know by now, the Dubs took an early 3-0 series lead before the Dallas Mavericks won Game 4. Last night, the Warriors had a chance to close out the series at the Chase Center and rightfully took the opportunity to reclaim what was once theirs. Barkley definitely felt the bitter sting after his team received a beating in Game 5.

The heckling did not stop as the cast of TNT’s Inside the NBA returned to the Bay Area to cover Game 5. Throughout the series, he was constantly bullied by Warriors fans in person and over the internet. During the initial home games, Chuck got into a heated verbal confrontation after fans chanted the words, “Chuck, you suck.” The former NBA player fired back at the crowds saying, “Y’all suck too.”
During the final close-out game, the fans took it a step too far while Charles Barkley was present on set among the large gathering. They began to throw random objects at Chuck nearly hitting him twice. He then rose up from his seat in frustration and snapped right back. His coworkers had repeatedly requested him to sit down. However, Shaquille O’Neal found the matter hilarious as you can see him laughing at the opposite end of the table.

Charles Barkley had a very successful individual career earning him multiple All-NBA selections and the Most Valuable Player of the year award. He was very dominant during his time in the league and helped his Phoenix Suns team reach the NBA Finals just once. Sadly, they would end up losing to the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls team.
To this day, Chuckster always gets trolled by almost everybody for never winning a ring in the NBA. After witnessing the feud between the Warriors fans and Charles, former NFL player Jerry Rice thought the exchanges were pointless. His reason was that GSW has more rings compared to Barkley being without any. His tweet captioned, “Do you have any championship rings? Stop hating on the Warriors!!”
