Trae Young and Jimmy Butler Fight
Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat stood in the way of Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 of the playoff series as the Heat crushed their rival’s intentions of getting a win. Duncan Robinson led the way for the Heat in their effort to get the dub as the player scored 27 points while also setting a franchise playoff record of hitting 8-three pointers in a single game while Butler followed him with 21 points, setting the tone right for the entire squad. In the game, it seemed as if Young couldn’t score at all, therefore leading to the devastating loss of his team as they failed to even put up a fight.
Trae Young put up his worst performance in a really long time as he matched his stats from 2019 against Chicago Bulls as he scored 1-12 FG and 0-7 3PT therefore leading his team to a 24-point loss against the #1 seeded Miami Heat. The Heat performed the way they were expected to perform while also showing exceptional defence, which seemed to be their main focus in the game against the rivals who definitely didn’t have any answer to it.
The tone of the game was set from the very beginning as Young and Butler came face to face in a heated exchange which almost got physical.

The Miami Heat faced off Atlanta Hawks in the Game 1 of the playoff series as the #1 seed reminded the #8 seed of their position, while their star player Jimmy Butler seemed to signal them to be where they belong with some of his actions during the game. The game between the Hawks and Heat was filled with intensity and highlights, most of which coming from the man Butler himself who started off the game on a tough note with a fight against Young and added some more electrifying moments with dunks etc.
With over 6 minutes and 40 seconds remaining on the clock in the first quarter, Trae Young had the ball, which he was trying to move around in order to make space to score. Young passed the ball to one of his teammates in the corner and while he was trying o receive the ball back, it was intercepted by Butler, who drove towards the opposite end of the court with just Trae in between them. Young clashed with Butler and that was enough to set them both off.

Young held on to Butler while the latter grabbed his neck and both of them came a bit too close, almost as if they were about to throw hands. Right before a fight could begin, the players came in and separated them both in order to stop something more from happening.
The Miami Heat won a game in a dominant fashion against the Hawks, an effort in which Duncan Robinson led the way for the team with 27 points, while Butler followed with 21 points and then P.J. Tucker with 16 points. For the Hawks, Danilo Gallinari led the way with 17 points, followed by De’Andre Hunter with 14 points and then John Colins and Kevin Knox with 10 points each.
