Jimmy Butler MERCILESSLY ROASTS Grant Williams and Celtics after Boston blow a big lead and lose

Jimmy Butler and Grant Williams faced off in a HEATED exchange in Game 2.

The answer to the Jimmy Butler problem is nowhere to be found for the men in green! The Miami Heat have defeated the Boston Celtics, yet again, extending their lead to 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals. The likes of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Grant Williams have been nothing but a mere foam wall against the unstoppable. The Miami Heat took the game away from the hands of the Celtics, who blew a big lead to eventually lose the game, and Butler was loving it!

Butler-led Miami Heat defeated the Celtics 111-105 at the TD Garden arena as the Heat star scored 27 points. The game was filled with moments of high intensity, be it Williams’ face-off against Butler or the Heat’s 24-9 sequence, but Jimmy Butler had the last laugh. It was evident how fired up Butler was after the win. Immediately after the win, he was spotted screaming, “There’s no way he thought that was the answer.”

Grant Williams definitely wasn’t the answer, and it was evident after the player’s failed attempt at intimidating Jimmy Butler resulted in something far worse for the Celtics. While the Heat were trailing by nine points in the fourth quarter, Butler and Williams were involved in a heated face-off. Following that, the Heat embarked on a 24-9 run against the Celtics, completing an incredible comeback to win.

Even Shaquille O’Neal highlighted how this was a wrong move on Williams’ and the Celtics’ part to try and intimidate Butler. Shaq said, “I remember one time I was walking, and the dog wasn’t bothering me. But then I decided to mess with the dog… I messed around and got bit. Y’ALL BETTER LEAVE JIMMY BUTLER ALONE.”

The Boston Celtics have yet to find a solution to the Jimmy Butler problem, but it is no surprise as they have bigger problems to deal with. A larger issue than Butler is the track record of their top player, Jayson Tatum, in the playoffs. Tatum still has ZERO field goals in the fourth quarter of this series. While Tatum was the Celtics’ leading scorer, he was nowhere to be found when they needed him the most.

As for Jimmy Butler, the Miami Heat could be nothing but grateful for Grant Williams as he “poked the bear.” During the post-game interactions with the media, the Celtics’ Jaylen Brown was asked about the same. The question was, “Did Grant Williams make a mistake poking the bear with Jimmy Butler?” Brown seemed uninterested in giving an answer as he said, “Next Question.”

After the game, Grant attempted to offer an explanation for his actions. He said, “I think he said something and I just responded… I’m not gonna run away from it… For me, it’s a matter of understanding that, yeah he did ‘poke a bear’ … I respect him as a motherf*cking player.”

It’ll be interesting to see how the Celtics plan on coming back from this brutal loss. Jayson Tatum’s form will be equally as concerning. Stay tuned for Game 3 between the Celtics and the Heat, which goes down on Monday!
