Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat tipped to land Eastern Conference SUPERSTAR to end NBA Finals heartbreak
Miami Heat want to bring Bradley Beal to the system led by Jimmy Butler.
Bradley Beal and Jimmy Butler
Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have been missing a piece in their roster which is holding them back from winning championships. The front office of the team and many in the league believe they need a superstar at the guard position. They were searching for that piece throughout the past season and now probably their hunt has come to an end.
The missing piece on the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat team can be Washington Wizards’ Bradley Beal. The Washington Wizards front office and Bradley Beal last week mutually decided to find him a new home in the league. And, now the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are the two finalists who want to acquire the superstar.
The Miami Heat though are aggressively pursuing a Bradley Beal trade with the Wizards. Reports even claim that they want a deal done before the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday. Bradley Beal last summer signed a $251.02 million worth 5-year supermax contract with the Wizards. His average salary is $50 million and next season he’ll be earning $47 million.
So the road to acquiring Bradley Beal in a trade by the Miami Heat isn’t going to be easy. But if they are able to pull it off and pair him with the duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo to form a Big 3. The league then would be in some serious danger. As the Miami Heat just reached the NBA Finals with a decent squad of many undrafted players. So it’s fair to say it won’t be easy for anyone to stop them in a BO7 series if they pair Bradley Beal with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The package Miami Heat is offering to the Washington Wizards to acquire Bradley Beal is around Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo’s salary, and multiple draft picks. The Miami Heat front office has pulled such thriller trades in the past too and it won’t be a big deal if they win this trade by exchanging the minimum.

Miami Heat to reject any offer including Tyler Herro in exchange for Bradley Beal
Miami Heralds’ Anthony Chiang in a tweet reported that Miami Heat aren’t going to offer Tyler Herro in any package to acquire Bradley Beal. Tyler Herro is a big-time asset and there are reasons he’s called a bucket. So giving him away without any assurance of the Big 3 landing multiple titles doesn’t make any good sense. So the Heat keeping him off the trading block is understandable.
Also, Miami Heat would like to get the trade done before July 1. Until then they need to include only $34.5 million in salaries in exchange for Bradley Beal. But once that window is gone they’ll have to include $42.5 million of salaries in the deal.
As of now, it’s a battle between the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat to acquire Bradley Beal as they both are pushing a deal. But the Wizards’ guard has a no-trade clause in his contract and in the end, he can decide where he wants to go.
