Embiid player furiously throughout the season and led the team into the top five in the Eastern Conference with a record of 51 wins and 31 losses. The Sixers’ title contention was heavily questioned initially due to the situation surrounding Ben Simmons.

In a blockbuster trade that landed, James Harden as a replacement for the defensive point guard truly helped the Sixers balance out their offense. Harden averaged 22.5 points per game on the Sixers this season which is far better than 15.9 points a night. The addition helped Embiid understand his role of being the source of their scoring.

Embiid led the Sixers to a victory finishing with 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 assists shooting 12-20 from the field. Harden recorded a double-double of 19 points and 10 assists. His slight step back from scoring may be a concern for future games as the Sixers are favored to win this series. The team shot 51.4% from the field, 41.9% from three, and 75% from the free-throw line.

As the Sixers take a 3-0 lead in the series, Joel Embiid could not help but call out Raptors supporter, Drake. The Rapper has played a very integral part in such games as many of us would have noticed him often exchanging words with the opposition team. Joel noticed Drake at the sidelines and said, “Get you’re a** out, I’m coming for that sweep too.”
The rapper hilariously gave a reply saying, “I’ll be there.” Joel Embiid is certainly out to achieve vindication. The player has been criticized for saying he can never lead his team to a championship. This year, he is a top prospect for the league’s Most Valuable Player award. The Sixers are set to face the Raptors on Friday at the Scotiabank Arena, Toronto.
