The Process Joel Embiid has led the way for the Philadelphia 76ers this season, performing almost flawlessly. The Sixers swept the Brooklyn Nets in Round 1 of the playoffs. Embiid averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists in the three games he played in the series. Post that, he was ruled out of the series due to an injury to his LCL, resulting in his absence from the final game.

Even though James Harden, Tobias Harris, and Tyrese Maxey have been playing well, Embiid’s absence from the court could play a pivotal role if the Sixers lose these games. With Embiid being so close to winning the MVP award this time, he wouldn’t want to risk anything. Nikola Jokic and the team have dominated so far to get into Round 2, making it an equally tough fight for Embiid to get the MVP award.

It’ll be interesting to see how things play out for the Sixers and Embiid from now on. Make sure to tune in tomorrow as the Sixers and the Celtics face off in TD Garden.
