Considering Embiid’s response to the 76ers’ turbulent season, fans may have to be a little more worried about what will happen if he decides to get shipped away.
James Harden has been playing well with the Sixers, but his presence has not been as impactful as they intended it to be when he was traded earlier this year. The playoffs were a huge disappointment primarily because his lack of consistency and poor numbers. Joel Embiid was obviously injured. The biggest concern here is that the 76ers have been unable to push past the Eastern Conference Semifinals for nearly six seasons.
