The Golden State Warriors lost Game 4 of their Western Conference semifinal series against the Los Angeles Lakers, extending their deficit to 3-1. The Warriors now stand one loss away from being eliminated from the playoffs, after losing 104-101 to the Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena on Monday. This series between the two Californian powerhouses has been marred with subpar performances from star players on both teams. At one point Anthony Davis was at the end of the stick, and now it’s Jordan Poole.

The Warriors star, who signed a $128 million extension last summer, has had a rough time during this series. After scoring 21 points in Game 1, Poole has managed only 11 points in the last three games. In Game 4, he failed to score a single point, going 0-4 from the field and getting benched after playing only 10 minutes.

Poole also managed two assists and three rebounds in Game 4 against the Lakers, but it’s far from what the Warriors expect from their third option on offense.

Poole simply hasn’t been a valuable contributor to the Warriors’ cause in this series since missing a highly criticized shot in Game 1 against the Lakers. He bricked his 30-foot game-winner, resulting in the Warriors losing a close game. Poole has yet again given critics, and even Warriors fans, an opportunity to roast him.

NBA Twitter is after Poole and this time it isn’t for a single shot, but for his awful performance overall. NBA Twitter went into a frenzy after Poole ended his game with zero points as they roasted the “Ice Spice fan.”

A poor outing from everyone not named Stephen Curry resulted in the Warriors slipping to a 3-1 deficit in their Western Conference semifinal series against the Lakers. Jordan Poole, who finished the game with zero points, was the biggest liability on offense and defense for the visitors tonight and was benched after featuring for only ten minutes. Poole’s poor outing did not go unnoticed on social media.

Look at some of the fan reactions to Poole’s horrendous performance in Game 4 which resulted in another loss for his team:

The Warriors will now head back to San Francisco for Game 5 with their season on the line. As for Jordan Poole, it’s back to the drawing board for the struggling star, who will be looking to emulate his Game 1 performance. The defending champions are up against the odds. Only 13 teams in NBA history have come back from a 3-1 deficit. The Lakers have a 95% chance of going through the Western Conference Finals. But LeBron James and the Lakers won’t count their chickens until they hatch, as few others are as aware of a team blowing a 3-1 lead as the four-time MVP.
